One has only to read some of the endless posts in our Facebook groups to see that EQOA is alive and well. She may not be running like the game we once knew; but the sheer love that this community has is astounding. How else can one explain the 2500+ community members, the thousands of posts, and thousands of YouTube videos, most of which came about after the sunset of 2012?
The World of EQOA lives on our hearts, and for some of us, drives us with desire to revive her.
In the beginning of this revival, we had nothing. Absolutely nothing…except a dream…and our inaccessible copies of the game. We had no programmers. No real way to connect with our community. Our Homeless community was disconnected and scattered across the internet as the official forums were blasted into oblivion.
In late 2012, we began the very long journey of piecing things together. Slowly calling out into the void to bring our community back together. This was the beginning of attempting something that was against all odds. Through sheer willpower and patience, we have overcome incredible obsticles.
Although there is still a long way to go, we may very well reach the end, look back, and realize that we accomplished something that had never in history been done before. Not like this.
